MustangMaps is a campus navigation app for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Location Data

MustangMaps collects your device's location to show your position on the campus map and provide walking directions. Location data is used only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

Data We Store Locally

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Saved/favorited places
• Search history

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Account or login data
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Advertising identifiers

Third-Party Services

MustangMaps uses MapLibre for map rendering. MapLibre is open-source and does not collect user data or require an API key.
