How does MustangMaps find my location? MustangMaps uses your device's GPS to show where you are on campus and guide you to your destination. You can grant location access when prompted, or later through your iPhone's Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Does MustangMaps work offline? Yes — core map data is bundled with the app, so you can navigate campus even without an internet connection.
Why does MustangMaps need background location? Background location allows turn-by-turn navigation to continue when you switch apps or lock your screen. You can disable this in Settings at any time.
A building or route is missing or incorrect. How do I report it? Email us at one of the listed emails with the name of the building or route, and a description of the issue. Screenshots help a lot.
Does MustangMaps collect my personal data? No. MustangMaps does not collect, store, or share personal data. Location data stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What devices are supported? MustangMaps requires iOS 15.1 or later. It works on iPhone and iPad.
The map isn't loading. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, restart your device.
Location is stuck or inaccurate. Make sure Location Services are enabled (Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > MustangMaps > set to "Always" or "While Using the App").
The app is crashing. Please email us with your iPhone model and iOS version so we can investigate.
